With a background in mixed-use development and infrastructure projects, Simone holds a Master of Science (MSc) in Environmental Management, cum laude, from the University of Pretoria. She is a registered Environmental Assessment Practitioner (EAPASA Registration: 2021/3537) and Professional Natural Scientist in Environmental Science (Pr. Sci. Nat 121521) through SACNASP.
